When Braden wasn’t out on tour last year, he was releasing new music. 2023 saw the launch of his EP Neon Grave (listen HERE). The acclaimed lyricist had a hand in penning all six cuts on the project, including one solo credit. MusicRow called the title track “[seething] with vocal passion” and described it as a “slow-burn country rocker with a dark twang and, as usual, [Braden] sings his face off.” Holler, meanwhile, proclaimed, “Tyler Braden delivers heartbreak and emotional tribulation with such resolve that you can’t help [but] be carried and stirred by the weight of his words.”
Most recently, the Alabama native shared standout track “Friends” (listen HERE), which is currently climbing the charts on SiriusXM The Highway. Billboard declared that “his dusty, acid-fueled rendering conveys all the sarcasm, pain and bewilderment of the song’s essence, further heightened by rock-propelled production.” Braden continues to carve his own lane in the country music industry, underscoring emotional lyrics with a plugged-in grit. He has already accumulated upwards of 260 million global streams, and his debut single “Try Losing One” hit No. 1 on The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.
