Rising Country recording artist Tyler Braden wrapped his first charitable golf tournament yesterday (10/25) raising money for National Fallen Fighters Foundation (NFFF) and Hungry Heroes. Tyler Braden’s Engine Co. 18 Golf Tournament amassed a total of $10,000 for first responders, veterans, and families of fallen heroes.

The day of festivities was followed by a night of live music presented by Nashville’s well-known Whiskey Jam, where Braden played alongside friend Joey Hyde and his producer/singer-writer Randy Montana. The tournament was the epitome of all of Braden’s passions: Country music, first responders, golf, and a good time.

Braden shared on socials yesterday with a series of photos, ”10 pictures won’t come close to showing you how much of a success our first annual Engine Co. 18 golf tournament was!! …Thank you to everyone that came out and helped support a great cause in National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Hungry Heroes !! There are so many people to tag but for now I’ll stick with saying thank you from the bottom of my heart! Love you all!!"

The Slapout, Alabama native spent seven years as a firefighter and first responder, all the while working his way to Nashville. He remained in the service well after making the move to Music City, building his songwriting repertoire and even playing shows between shifts. The powerhouse vocalist and emotive lyricist has released several tracks as a major label recording artist, each to massive fan response.

The MusicRow Awards nominee for Discovery Artist of the Year’s first Warner Music Nashville release, a powerful take on NEEDTOBREATHE’s “Brother” (listen HERE), paid tribute to his first responder family and all those fighting on the frontlines of the pandemic. The cover quickly racked up more than 2.5 MILLION views on YouTube. He then introduced his songwriting with “Love Is A Dead End Road” (listen HERE), praised for its “enormous feeling and just the right blend of power and ache” (MusicRow), followed by his solo penned, “Secret” (listen HERE), which has already racked up over 12 MILLION streams organically without radio airplay, showing just what Braden can do.  He has since earned a massive fan response with “What Do They Know" (listen HERE), and most recently "Ways To Miss You" (listen HERE).

Braden is part of Brantley Gilbert’s THE WORST COUNTRY TOUR OF ALL TIME kicking off on Thursday, November 18 at Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Knoxville. More information on all of Braden’s tour dates can be found here.
